An Important Update on Hemp in Texas

Beginning July 31st, 2026, Texas DSHS will be reinstating their 2021 definitions with regard to Hemp-derived cannabinoids, effectively banning non-Delta 9 products, including Delta 8 THC, THCP, and many others. For consumers this means that the days leading up to July 31st will be the final opportunity to enjoy these products legally. On July 31st, non-Delta 9 will considered controlled substances in Texas.

This represents a major setback for consumers in the lone star state, but there is still hope, as Delta 9 remains as a legal option. Contact your representatives today to let them know how Hemp-derived products have improved your life and how their removal might negatively impact you.
